The Three Rivers Ski League welcomes you to its web site!

Updated 03/11/2010

This league is a member of the Oregon Interscholastic Ski Racing Association (OISRA) Alpine Division, which is the statewide governing body of high school alpine ski racing. OISRA was organized in 1961 to govern and standardize competition in high school alpine ski racing.

Information regarding current results, standings, schedules, and related links is provided for all racers, coaches, parents, and visitors. Please check back for updates and further developments.

2009-20010 League Meeting dates have been set. Please mark your calendars for the following dates.

All Three River League (TRL) meetings held at Athey Creek Middle School at 7:30 PM sharp.

League Meeting Dates:
Next League Meeting will be in October

Thanks!

The TRL would like to extend a HUGE Thank You to our outgoing Secretary Jennie Sandler. Her many long hours of time and dedication to the TRL are sincerely appreciated. In addition we extend our gratitude to Robin Chapin as our outgoing Vice President. We appreciate your time to serve the membership.

Racer Training Opportunity.....

How about a chance to improve your skills and benefit the league too! Currently Cascade Winter Sports Club (CWSC) in conjunction with Can-Am Race Camps is offering a 10 time spring and summer ski training valued at $675, for a discounted price of $500 to any skier that is not currently involved with CWSC. If you should choose to join CWSC your price will be applied toward your team fees. In addition CWSC will dentate 10% to the Three Rivers Ski League for every racer that signs up!

Each 10 time pass gives you 10 days of coaching with CWSC.  It doesn’t cover the lift tickets. You will be training with the team on team training days but could select any training day you wish. Training is at Timberline so kids with the Fusion pass would be covered or Timberline is selling a spring pass right now for $109 or $99 for skiing after April 1st.

You can elect to join USSA and compete at USSA events and can travel with the CWSC team and use one of the 10 days for race coaching at that event, but it is not necessary. Essentially it is 10 days of coaching to be used however you choose. It’s a great value considering that a week of summer camp is upwards of $1700!

Attention Racers, Parents and Coaches..... we need everyone's help to inform the racers the importance of the following rules.

* Please remember your bib's for the race this weekend. A lost bib will cost you $30! This is not a new rule. If you forget or lose your bib you will need to check in at the registration desk to get a new one. A $20 refundable deposit will be needed to get a new bib for the day. No exceptions!

* If you are racing with a replacement bib for the day you should inform the starter before entering the starting gate.

* You will not be allowed on the ski lift without your lift ticket. Your bib does not permit you access to the ski lift, you must have your lift ticket. Any harassment of the lift operator may get you kicked off the mountain! No exceptions!

* You must be wearing your bib during any course inspections. The bib must be properly attached, not just hanging over your head. Violation of this rule is a DQ for the race. No exceptions!

Please see this link for a message and the list of permanent bib assignments for the 2010 season. Link

Parent Rep's and Coaches. There is a new USSA Gate Keeper training video available for your parents that volunteer for that race duty. Please have all parents volunteering for Gate Keeper watch this 10 minute video. Click Here
